4 Actors Leaving Y & R

Tristan Rogers announced via Twitter that his character, Colin, would
be leaving Genoa City. Soaps in Depth is reporting that a YOUNG AND
THE RESTLESS insider shared the news late last week that Rogers had
been let go from the soap, along with Eden Riegel (Heather), Sean
Patrick Flanery (Sam) and Darius McCrary (Malcolm).

Riegel is wonderful but was miscast as Heather. Darius McCrary was
absolutely the wrong actor to cast as a replacement for Shemar Moore
as Malcolm. Sean Patrick Flanery just wasn't needed as Sam.

The actor playing Sam is the only one I would keep. But, I guess he is too
nice a character to be on a soap. Who will Sharalot fall on the bed with
when she gets out of prison.

I found Sam to be too nice - boring, in other words. Sharon would have
too. The one person she has really, truly loved was Adam. She will go
back to him.

As Soaps In Depth reported last night on ourFacebook page, THE YOUNG & THE
RESTLESS star Tristan Rogers announced via Twitter that his character,
Colin, would be leaving Genoa City. A Y&R insider shared the news with In
Depth late last week that Rogers had been let go from the soap, along with
Eden Riegel (Heather), Sean Patrick Flanery (Sam) and Darius
McCrary(Malcolm).

A Y&R spokesperson states that they do not comment on casting rumors.
